Oasis Landscape Architecture (OLA) is a Sarasota based design studio specializing in complex and detail oriented place making and design throughout southwest Florida and Charleston, South Carolina.
OLA is dedicated to elevating the outdoor experience through thoughtful and innovative design. ARRON DIEDRICH, PLA
PRINCIPAL + CREATIVE DIRECTOR
With over a decade of experience, Arron is an award winning designer who has lead and participated in a variety of large scale and complex projects throughout Sarasota, Tampa and Charleston, SC. His expertise lies in the design of large-scale multi-family and mixed-use projects, residential projects, master planned communities and hospitality projects.
Arron fosters OLA’s approach in crafting spatial design through client collaboration and enjoys creating spaces that are dynamic and enriching to the human experience. His designs are intuitive, engaging and emotionally captivating all while maintaining the balance of the client’s needs and natures allowance.
As an active member of Architecture Sarasota, Arron enjoys participating in local events related to architecture, landscape architecture, historical preservation and design.
SEBASTIAN HILPL
MACKENZIE TOBIN
DESIGN ASSOCIATE
With more than half a decade of experience in landscape design, MacKenzie has contributed to a diverse range of projects—from intimate residential gardens to large-scale commercial developments—across the southeastern United States. Her design approach emphasizes creating vibrant, functional outdoor spaces that enhance both the client’s lifestyle and the surrounding natural environment.
MacKenzie thoughtfully integrates client personalities, ecological awareness, and design principles to craft sophisticated, site-responsive landscapes. She is deeply committed to sustainable and socially responsible design, continually expanding her knowledge to support environmental stewardship on both local and global scales.
Based in Saint Petersburg, MacKenzie is actively involved in the community. She enjoys exploring local arts and culture, participating in environmental cleanup efforts, volunteering, and spending time along the waterfront.
JOSEPH IANTOSCA
DESIGNER
As an alumnus of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Joe brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to landscape architecture—grounded in a deep respect for the interplay between built form and the natural environment. He is driven by a desire to enrich biodiversity and enhance user experience, guided by the belief that intentional design fosters lasting connections and a sense of harmony within the landscape.
Joe’s emphasis on spatial relationships and atmosphere allows him to craft environments that are emotionally resonant and responsive to the unique qualities of each site. His work is rooted in functionality, yet elevated by a sensitivity to place and the people who inhabit it.
Originally from Dedham, Massachusetts, Joe understands how thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces can shape daily life. His background in geographic information systems (GIS) offers valuable insight into how history, land use, and social dynamics inform design. Whether working on residential landscapes or large-scale master plans, Joe is committed to practical, purposeful solutions that reflect a distinct sense of place and welcome meaningful engagement.
SENIOR DESIGN ASSOCIATE
With a background shaped by five years of experience in Aspen, Colorado, Sebastian Hilpl has contributed to an array of distinguished projects ranging from bespoke residences to estate restorations and expansive ranch properties. His work reflects a discerning eye for detail and a commitment to design excellence, qualities that align with OLA’s pursuit of refined, timeless landscapes.
Sebastian also holds a deep appreciation for Sarasota’s rich architectural legacy, particularly its mid-century modern tradition. This cultural influence informs his design sensibilities and reinforces his commitment to creating work that balances innovation with a respect for architectural heritage.
He holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida, bringing both technical expertise and design sophistication to OLA’s portfolio.
